I have decided to end my blog as I can't be assured that we will have continuation of Internet service. I just want to thank everyone who has become my internet friends. My god bless each and everyone of you, your families. I pray that Obama will not be re-elected. May God watch over our Serviceman and Women, and May God Bless America.

Hate to see you go, Rob.

ReplyDeleteWell Hell. You can't go who will I get to play Helga in the Kymber parody posts?
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Rob!! I'll miss your posts - be safe & God Bless you and your family.
ReplyDeleteThank You all for your kind words. This was a hard choice, as my income is zero, and still waiting for my disability to be approved. We have made cuts all around from closing our mail box, to cancelling our cell phone. Our rent is being paid by my adult children, and we, (wife and I), feel we have been a burden far too long on our kids.
ReplyDeleteI have not worked since Jan. 2010, and the wife was fired from her job because of her needing time off due to her kidney issues over the last year. She still can't return to work yet.
Thank you again.
Sad to see you go Rob, hopefully you can check in once in a while from the library or something to let us know how you and the family are doing. Nothing but the best wishes for you! Take care!
ReplyDeleteSorry to see you go Rob.

ReplyDeleteRob...I was blogless for over a month and just noticed I haven't read anything from you. I hope things are better and you and family will find a way to make it back to your home state. You will be missed
ReplyDeleteRob - I'm late in this as most of August was dealing with some surgery and things with my Dad.
DeleteYou will be missed. If you get up towards IND, leave me a note in comments and I'll shoot you directions to where we all meet for shooting and food. You would be welcome.
Aw Rob, I'm sorry you're saying goodbye to blogging. I confess I don't get around as often as I should, but I always love reading your posts. I wish you well in whatever's next.
ReplyDeleteMomma Bear, Leigh, & Brigid,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the kind words. The last month has flown by, but when you are in the hospital time also drags. I have been EKGed, CTed and MRIed. Poked with needles, had blood drawn, and all the rest. While I feel like a dart board, and my desk looks like a spin off of CVS I am feeling better.
The other morning I almost ended up back in the E.R. with a blood sugar reading of 59 I was able to bring it up fast with out going. It was 93 today. Not to worry, I am stubborn and strong willed.
Rob
Good luck to you :)
